Oh girl….while it may seem that some woman are made for mommyhood, let me assure you, it’s never like slipping into a warm bath! Even when it seems meant to be, it’s painful and tiring and mind boggling. Not to take away the awesomeness – but I would hate for you to think you weren’t cut out for being a mom just because it’s distinctly non-bath-like :) Oh, and heads up – it will change who you are as a daughter, sister and friend. Jeez, am I trying to burst your bubble or what? :)

I’ve so enjoyed following you during your pregnancy, and I think it will be very interesting to see how you do handle the transition from career woman to motherhood. I hope you’ll write on it honestly and with humor as you do your other posts :) Happy New Year!
