-Blanche, True. If we were in a Lifetime movie, one of us would probably already have been bludgeoned to death with a toaster so let's be thankful we're not in one of those.

At least we're not hearing a voice over. That has to count for something, right?

-Blanche, Oh shoot, is there a screenplay we're living out or something? Shouldn't we have been given the chance to approve said screenplay before living it out like this? If I'd had a chance to approve this screenplay, I definitely would have asked for more money in my contract, a closet full of pretty shoes, and a perfect pregnancy wherein I gained very little weight and glowed all the time.

We gave our dog a bath Saturday morning. Then we worked in the yard. Thankfully she avoided the muddy puddle, and kept the dirt to her chest and belly where it was easily wiped off. Must remember: yard work first, then bath.

Our refi papers came in yesterday's mail, our taxes are at the accountants (waiting for another return for a family business to be completed, so we'll probably not be signing them until the 15th), and well, you know about the vacancy sign I've got out on the uterus.

Are you sure you're not living our life, just on the opposite coast?
