The Quest for Skinny Erika Week 15

This was an awesome week for weight loss. I’d been a bit upset to find I gained a pound the week after being sick. Yes, I lost 2.2 pounds thanks to the stomach flu but then I gained a pound back the next week despite exercising and eating well. Boo.

Then, this week, I decided to take it up a notch. In addition to my six workouts that week, I added three walks pushing a stroller. The walks ranged between two and four miles, and I was hoping they would get me back on the road to weight loss.

When I stepped on the scale for my weekly weigh-in, I did a double-take. Surely, surely, the scale could not be correct. It said I lost three pounds.

Three. Pounds.

That was cause for celebration! I did a happy dance right there in the personal training studio and it didn’t embarrass me a bit because 182.4 pound people don’t get embarrassed over stuff like that.

  2. -Blanche, Nah, don’t feel regret! You’re skinny, you can afford those delights! I’ve enjoyed too many of them in the past and now I’m doing my penance.
