There was a time, not too long ago, that I was posting pictures every other week of my embiggening preggers belly. And now I’m posting pictures of my shrinking belly. Funny how goals change depending on where you’re at in life.
As of this week I’m officially in the 170’s. Weighing in at 179.6 lbs means I’m less than ten pounds away from my goal weight, which I think is just bananas. When I decided on 170 as my goal weight, I thought it was a nonsense number.
I can’t ever remember being that weight, and now I’m within spitting distance of it? What the WHAT?!
I don’t have high hopes for this upcoming week of weight loss, though. I injured my knee late last week, then caught a nasty cold, so I haven’t exercised much. I feel like a huge slacker, but it’s not like I licked the sink at a public restroom to catch this cold, is it?
That’s rather a gross example. Please forgive me.
Anyway, let’s celebrate this week’s weight loss and just pretend next week’s weigh-in is a figment of my imagination! Especially since tomorrow is my birthday! And birthdays means YUM!
