Just kidding, I’m not shrinking I’m…imploding? Condensing and firming like a good custard?

For those who don’t feel like making the jump, I’m down to 202 lbs. I lost 1.6 lbs. last week and I’m down 5 lbs. total! Considering I weighed in at 217 lbs. at the beginning of January, I’d say I’m doing pretty well.
My fervent hope is to drop below 200 lbs. in the next two weeks. I’d be tickled pink to be in the 190’s by the end of March. I was 192 lbs. when I got pregnant, but my first-stage goal is to get to 185 lbs. That’s still considered overweight for BMI purposes (according to the BMI, I should be 170 lbs.), but we’ll see how I look at 185 and re-evaluate.
Man, just the thought that I could be below 200 lbs. in the next couple weeks makes me feel all fluttery and excited. It’s a pretty short leap-and-hop from 200 to 185, and I can say with confidence that I haven’t been 185 lbs. since before I got married.
There’s just something about making real progress and seeing my goal creep closer and closer that is so exciting!
